Osteria dell’Arco
Review for this restaurant
It’s not by chance that the Slow Food movement was founded in the Unesco World Heritage region of the Langhe. The unpretentious Osteria dell’Arco is one of the best examples of the region’s deep-rooted food culture. The menu is filled with classic dishes like vitello tonnato (veal in tuna sauce), battuta di carne al coltello (like a beef tartare, but with bigger chunks) and ravioli del plin, closed by “pinching” (hence the name) the two extremities of the pasta. There is also a wonderful list of Barolos and Barbarescos, along with the less expensive wines of the region.
