Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura
Review for this restaurant
Gucci Osteria, the series of Italian contemporary restaurants popping up around the world – from Los Angeles to Tokyo – was born out of a partnership between the historic fashion brand and Massimo Bottura, as a possible answer to the question of how to actualize legacy in culinary terms. There’s a lot of thought behind it, but the cooking in the Florence branch, with marvelous views over Palazzo Vecchio, is utterly uncomplicated, from the Emilia burger (cotechino, Parmigiano-Reggiano, salsa verde and balsamic mayonnaise) to Bottura’s signature tortellini with Parmigiano-Reggiano cream.
