Bodega Cigalena
Review for this restaurant
Situated next to the Cañadio square, the center of nightlife in Santander, this restaurant is an authentic wine museum, with bottles decorating ceilings and walls. The cellar, which covers mostly Spanish and French wines, holds around 1,300 different selections. And if you still can't find something to choose, Andrés Conde, the third generation running the restaurant and a walking wine encyclopedia, might offer you something from the 300-400 bottles not on the list. The traditional Cantabrian cuisine relies on quality fish, meats and sausages that are mixed with vegetables and seasonal products.
